How Do Our Community Hosts Help Lead Events?

Community Hosts create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere at BizBestie Walk events. They help attendees to meet new people and enjoy a smooth event experience.

  • Welcome attendees and help everyone feel comfortable

  • Help guide our Cafe Walk flow

  • Lead the group along the suggested route

  • Capture a group photo and a few candid moments 📸

How to Become a Community Host

01 - Join an Event

Purchase an event ticket & select the Community Host box during checkout. Both new and returning attendees are welcome to express interest.

02 - Get Selected

We'll select a Community Host one week before the event and email detailed instructions to help you host a successful BizBestie Walk experience.

03 - Lead the Experience

Arrive a few minutes early, guide the flow, and help everyone connect. Afterwards, upload your photos and videos to our shared folder.


Community Host Perks

  • Recognized as a Community Host on event listings and social media (when applicable)

  • Added as a collaborator on post-event Instagram posts (when applicable)

  • Highlighted in our Instagram Stories

  • Help create welcoming spaces for women entrepreneurs to connect

  • Receive a $25 credit toward a future BizBestie Walk event for each event you successfully host.

Host Selection

We cannot guarantee that everyone who expresses interest will be selected as a Community Host.

Because each walk or meetup only requires one host, we encourage you to express interest again in the future if you're not selected for a particular event.
